What does it mean to Get Centred?

Centering usually refers to our mental and physical state of mind. Itโ€™s the place we know we have to get back to when weโ€™re not feeling like ourselves. When we center ourselves, we bring calm to our emotions. We do so by slowing down our breathing so that we โ€œfeelโ€ more of whatโ€™s going on around us. Becoming centered is a way to find peace within the chaos that might be surrounding us. Itโ€™s about being โ€œin checkโ€ with whatโ€™s going on. Individuals who are centered are typically calm and peaceful.

Here at the Centre for Aesthetic + Reconstructive Surgery we would love to learn what our patients do to get centred. Follow us on social media @centrefars and watch for what we do as a staff and learn tips from other patients on how they find their zen.

If you have a centering tip, post and tag us! @centerfars #getcentred
