Cold Weather is Perfect for Plastic Surgery

All surgical procedures require a recovery period. Some of these are short – requiring only a few days before normal activities can be resumed – but many necessitate a reduction in activity that can last for several weeks.

If you have been considering a plastic surgery procedure, now may be the best time to take action. Recovering during the cooler months, when activity is already limited, can help to reduce interruptions to your lifestyle. It can also help to ensure that once the warmer weather returns, you’ll be all set to show off your results.

Popular Plastic Surgery Procedures

Some of the most popular plastic surgery procedures at our East Greenwich office include:

For some patients, these procedures will produce ideal results on their own. For others, a combination of procedures may be needed to help produce the most pleasing outcomes. Combining procedures can help to reduce recovery time as well, making now a good time for both stand-alone and more involved treatment options. Use the contact form on this page or call our office today to schedule a consultation and learn more.

Taking Time Off

Depending on factors unique to each procedure, initial recovery from plastic surgery can take anywhere from five to fourteen days. It may be one to two weeks before you can resume working and eight or more before you can begin to perform more demanding physical tasks.

Make sure you create a space that is comfortable for your recovery and arrange for help from a trusted adult during the first week or so to prevent overexertion. Your safety, comfort, and satisfaction are very important to us. We will work directly with you to provide you with additional suggestions and help optimize your recovery experience.
