Non-Ablative Fractional Laser Resurfacing safely delivers heat into the skin. The laser itself does this by creating thousands of invisible tiny columns into the skin. These columns work beyond the surface of the skin. They are delivered deeper where they can gradually stimulate collagen. On average, most patients need 4 treatments and will see full improvement at 6-8 months. Fine lines and wrinkles will begin to lessen and appear softer. Pore size and acne scarring are also improved. This treatment is not instant gratification but long term it is a very safe and effective way to improve the appearance of your skin.
Non-Ablative treatments require no actual downtime. Most patients look and feel sunburned for a few days after the treatment. Mineral make-up, such as Colorescience, can be applied.
